Wildlife Pond

Wildlife Pond

Having recently moved to Penryn the customer here has won commendation for his work with wildlife gardens in the past. We started out by clearing the garden of unwanted unruly growth and we will be planting it up soon with wildlife and pollinator friendly plants. I recommended a wildlife pond and we built this little beauty where an old dead walnut tree once stood.

We have creating various depths for various wildlife and tried to make it look natural with the use of natural rocks, pebbles and drift wood. Taking the stump out proved to be a good start for the creation of a nice big hole in the ground. A perfect place for the pond! We will plant up the pond itself once it has naturalised in a couple of weeks.
