Stone Bridge, Mylor

Stone Bridge, Mylor

Muddy Wellies Gardens Landscaping team were contracted to turn a very steep bank and woodland which was full of Buddleja and brambles in to an enjoyable and usable part of the garden.

We set about clearing the woods and the bank. We built several dry stone walls to terrace the steep slope. A path winds its way down the bank between new flowerbeds and seating areas, over a stream and through the woods.

Several flights of steps were constructed from wood board and pins to blend in with the natural environment and to cope with the slope. Our team showed off their landscape engineering skills when constructing a traditional style stone bridge over the stream. The bridge showcases three of Cornwalls local stones, Granite, Callywith and Delebole slate to form a decorative and functional bridge.

This once unusable part of the garden is now the perfect area to stroll and relax.
